Taking Pregnancy Seriously in Metaphysics, Ethics and Epistemology,” is a research project run by philosophers Elselijn Kingma and Fiona Woollard (University of Southampton).  As part of that project, Kingma and Woollard recently published an op-ed in a Dutch newspaper arguing against proposals there to increase the powers of the state to intervene in cases where women, for example, smoke while they are pregnant.  A rough English translation can be found here.
