What's Wrong? 
The University’s position is patently absurd, and their claim that they are immune from lawsuits is a cloak for authoritarianism that I hope will be shot down by the American Supreme Court. Names can be “owned” if they are made up by a private firm to designate some special product (e.g., car names such as the “Mazda Miata”); but the University of Kentucky is a state institution. No state, including “sovereign” nations, should be immune from lawsuits by offended citizens, who have no other way to defend their rights.
