One response to “What’s Wrong With Private Prisons?

  1. It appears that the treatment of convicts in a privately operated prison can be worse than it is in one operated by the state. Basic reason is the private company running the prison has reason to skimp as much as possible to increase its level of profits. Prisoners are “captive” and have next to no recourse if they are mistreated.
