  1. In the article, it mentioned how contraband is at high risk with in-person visits which is very true. I think video chats are a very helpful tool for inmates to experience life happening events. This can give inmates a better look towards what they are missing out in life and can even change their own perspectives. We are highly sociable beings so of course inmates do have a right for some sort of personal contact with a loved one, so if that’s the case then there should be a more strict policy with in-person visits such as a stronger surveillance system, more on-duty guards and very limited amount of visits. If you restrict rights from inmates that would correlate with a more aggressive, more violent attitude which would not help improve themselves. A prison is a place for people to correct their lives with punishment but there’s no need to be very cruel about it.
